The Rainbow Mountain ATV Tour is the most thrilling and efficient way to conquer the summit of Vinicunca (5,036 m / 16,522 ft). This full-day excursion blends the adrenaline of riding professional Honda ATVs across rugged Andean terrains with a short, manageable high-altitude hike. By significantly reducing the physical exertion of traditional trekking, this tour makes the «Mountain of 7 Colors» more accessible, fun, and time-effective.

Day 1 Day 01 : Cusco - Cusipata - Anta - Red Valley - Rainbow Mountain - Return to Cusco
Early Departure & Scenic Drive Your adventure begins early with the flexibility of two departure times (04:00 AM or 05:00 AM). We will pick you up directly from your hotel and head toward Cusipata. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a delicious Buffet Breakfast to fuel up for the day. Following breakfast, our Professional Bilingual Guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and tour overview.
The ATV Experience & Red Valley Views After breakfast, we continue our journey for approximately two hours to the base station in Anta (Red Valley). Here, you will be equipped with a high-quality Honda ATV and all necessary safety gear. After a brief practice session to get comfortable with the controls, we’ll start the thrilling 25-minute ATV ride to the Red Valley Lookout. This high-altitude vantage point offers stunning photo opportunities of the vast, terracotta-colored landscapes.
Conquering Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) Once we complete the ATV portion, we’ll begin a manageable 30-minute hike to reach the summit of Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) at an impressive altitude of 5,036 m (16,522 ft). After soaking in the breathtaking 360-degree views and capturing the iconic colors, we will hike back to our ATVs and return to our transport.
Refuel and Return to Cusco To celebrate our successful summit, we’ll head back to our restaurant for a well-deserved Buffet Lunch, featuring a variety of local flavors. Finally, we’ll begin the return journey to the Imperial City of Cusco, arriving at a central location between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, depending on your selected shift.
