The best part of the tour: Guided tour of Inca Jungle Trail To Machupicchu 3 Days

Over View — Inca Jungle 3 Days to Machu Picchu

This is an intense 3-day adventure package plus the Machu Picchu visit day. It’s an active trip that takes you from the high sierra all the way down to the warm jungle climate. Day 1 is pure adrenaline: after the drive to Abra Málaga Pass (14,272 ft / 4,350 m), you’ll do a roughly 40-mile downhill bike ride. In the afternoon, the adventure continues with Class 5 white-water rafting on the Vilcanota River before overnighting in Santa Teresa. Day 2 starts with more action: ziplining in the morning, flying across 4 cables and a hanging bridge. Then an easy 3-hour hike along the train tracks to Aguas Calientes for the night. Day 3 is all about the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu — a 2-hour guided tour, free time, and then the return to Cusco via your chosen option (train or car).

📍 Day 1 : Cusco – Abra Málaga – Biking – Rafting – Santa Teresa

The day starts early with pickup from your hotel between 6:00–7:00 a.m. We’ll drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas for about 1 hour and 40 minutes to Ollantaytambo, where we’ll make a quick stop for breakfast or to stretch your legs. After this break, we’ll continue to the Abra Málaga Pass (14,272 ft / 4,350 m). This is where we gear up — our expert will give you a cycling class with a quick practice before the real thing. Then we’ll start an epic roughly 40-mile downhill bike ride with views of the snow-capped Verónica peak, ending in the town of Humanmarka and finally Santa María (3,281 ft / 1,000 m) — end of our first adventure.

In the afternoon, we’ll hit the Class 5 rafting on the Vilcanota River. Before starting, our expert guide will go over all safety instructions and hand out gear like helmets and life jackets. After rafting, we’ll take about a 1-hour ride to our lodge in Santa Teresa for dinner and overnight. If you’re up for it, you can head to the Cocalmayo Hot Springs in the afternoon to relax for a couple hours — just coordinate with your guide.

📍 Day 2 : Santa Teresa – Zipline – Aguas Calientes

A beautiful morning awaits. We’ll wake up around 6:30 a.m. for breakfast and get ready for an action-packed day. Around 8:00 a.m., our transport takes us to the zipline base — an activity set between mountains. Before starting, our zipline expert will give a full briefing for this 2-hour activity where you’ll fly across 4 different ziplines and 1 hanging bridge.

After the zipline, we’ll drive about 40 minutes to Hidroeléctrica for lunch at a local restaurant. Then we’ll continue our journey with a 3-hour hike along the train tracks, exploring the flora and fauna of the cloud forest, until we reach Aguas Calientes. Once there, we’ll check into our hostel for the night. We’ll have our last dinner around 7:00 p.m., and our guide will give you the full rundown for tomorrow’s Machu Picchu visit.

📍 Day 3 : Machu Picchu – Cusco

The day you’ve been waiting for — Machu Picchu. To get from Aguas Calientes to the citadel’s main entrance, you’ve got two options: a 1-hour-50-minute hike (starting at 4:30 a.m. after breakfast) or a comfortable bus ride ($12 USD per leg). If you hike, it’s all uphill — about 1,650 steps. Once at the main gate, you’ll meet your group and guide to enter the site.

We’ll explore with a guided tour of about 2 hours through the Inca citadel, where our guide will share the fascinating history and mystery of this place. You’ll also get time for those cover-photo shots and to take in the incredible views. After the guided tour, you’ll have free time to explore and chill on your own. If you booked Wayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (advance reservation and extra cost), you can do that climb now.

Finally, in the afternoon, we’ll start the return to Cusco based on your chosen option:
