Yes. Peru is safe for tourists, especially in major destinations such as Cusco, Lima, Arequipa, Puno, and the Sacred Valley. We recommend basic precautions, such as avoiding poorly lit areas at night and using official or agency-recommended transportation services.

It is not recommended. Bottled or purified water is best. All our hotels and service providers offer safe drinking water.

Most travelers from Europe, the United States, Canada, and Latin America do not need a tourist visa. They may stay up to 90 days with a valid passport.

We recommend:
– Resting during the first hours at high-altitude destinations (Cusco, Puno)
