At Viajes Perú, we work to provide authentic, safe, and well-organized experiences in Cusco’s top tourist destinations. To ensure clear communication with all our passengers, it is essential to carefully read these Terms and Conditions before making any reservation. This avoids confusion and misunderstandings and guarantees a transparent travel process from the start.
The most popular destinations, such as Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail, and the Salkantay Trek, are regulated by official entities that enforce very strict policies. These policies include limited availability, fixed entry times, and mandatory advance ticket purchase.

Mandatory Travel Date Review
Due to these regulations, it is very important to carefully review your travel dates before confirming a reservation.
Once you have purchased your Machu Picchu entrance fees, Inca Trail permits, train tickets, Consettur bus tickets, and other associated services:

These restrictions are not Viajes Perú policies, but official regulations established by the Ministry of Culture and authorized tour operators.
1. Contract with Viajes Peru.
The terms and conditions detailed below (the “Terms”) constitute the entire agreement between Viajes Peru (“Viajes Peru,” “we,” or “us”) and you, the client. Under this agreement, any reference to “Viajes Peru” also refers to our directors, employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates.
2. Reservations
To secure your spot or tour, each client must provide the following complete information for all participants:
A deposit of USD 200 per person is required, payable by credit card, online payment, Western Union, MoneyGram, or PayPal (plus transfer fee), provided it is made at least 61 days prior to the trip.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than one day before the tour departure.
3. Payments
The balance can be paid by the following means:
No passenger may participate in the tour without having paid the full cost.
4.Single Supplement
All accommodations are based on double occupancy. If a single traveler requires a private room or cannot find a roommate, the corresponding single supplement will apply.
5. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges will apply:
No refunds are given for unused services. Some tours, such as the Inca Trail, especially for Machu Picchu entrance fees, have additional special policies.
6. Prices and Surcharges
In case of unforeseen cost increases (e.g., transportation, currency exchange, taxes), Viajes Perú reserves the right to apply a proportional surcharge. If costs decrease, we will pass the savings on to the client.
7. Airlines
Viajes Perú is not responsible for the acts or omissions of airlines. Airlines other than those advertised may be used, and aircraft type and seat assignments are not guaranteed.
8. Trains to Machu Picchu
Due to conservation restrictions for Machu Picchu:
Viajes Peru is not responsible for changes in train services, routes, or cancellations.
9. Delays
Any expenses incurred due to delays beyond the control of Viajes Peru (weather, transportation, health, etc.) will not be reimbursed.
10. Changes by Viajes Peru
Reasonable changes may be made to the itinerary for the safety or comfort of the group. You will be notified as soon as possible. Claims for damages resulting from these changes will not be accepted.

12. Authority During the Tour
Clients must respect local laws and the guide’s decisions. If a client endangers the group or interferes with the trip, they may be removed from the tour without a refund.
13. Health and Physical Condition
It is mandatory to inform the guide of any medical condition at the time of booking. The guide may exclude from the tour any person they deem to pose a risk to their own health or the health of the group. No refunds will be issued in these cases.
14. Luggage
Peru Travel is not responsible for damage to or loss of luggage during the trip.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers:
16. Travel Documentation
The client is responsible for obtaining a valid passport (at least 185 days prior to departure), visas, permits, and any necessary medical or vaccination certificates.
17. Claims
Claims must be submitted in writing within 5 days of departure. Claims submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
18. Arbitration
Any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration in Peru.
19. Limitation of Liability
Viajes Perú acts solely as an intermediary between the passenger and the tour operators. We are not responsible for delays, weather changes, route closures, government regulations, or any event beyond our control.
20. Severability
If any part of these Terms is invalid, the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
21. Entire Agreement
This document supersedes any prior agreements between you and Viajes Peru.
22. Modifications
Amendments will only be valid if they are in writing and signed by both parties.
23. Interpretation
Nothing in this contract shall be construed against either party.
24. Mandatory Medical Insurance
The client must have adequate medical insurance that covers: medical care, evacuation, loss of belongings, etc.
25. Assumption of Risk
The client acknowledges that they are participating voluntarily and accept the inherent risks of the trip.
26. Exclusion of Liability
Viajes Peru acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for third-party services such as hotels, transportation, or recreational activities. Clients understand and accept that risks exist in adventure travel.
27. Release of Liability
By signing, you release Viajes Peru from any claims for incidents during the trip, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This itinerary is subject to change. Subject to change without prior notice due to weather, strikes, flight delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
During the rainy season (October to April), adjustments may be necessary.
We recommend acclimatizing to altitudes above 3,000 meters before your trip, drinking plenty of water, and bringing altitude sickness medication.
